What is ReformedScreen?
ReformedScreen is a subscription tool that gives Protestant parents instant, customized media vetting reports for movies, TV shows, books, games, and music — tailored to your exact theological convictions (young-earth creationism, regulative worship, complementarianism, cessationism, and 50+ deeper settings).
Who is behind ReformedScreen?
I'm a Christian parent and developer frustrated with generic "family-friendly" reviews that miss subtle doctrinal issues. I built ReformedScreen to save families hours of research and help us raise children who love what is pure and reject what is worthless (Psalm 101:3).
How does the customization work?
After signup, you complete a quick profile (3 required questions + optional deeper convictions). Every report is then generated with your settings in mind — flagging content that conflicts with your beliefs (e.g., evolution, egalitarianism, ecumenism) and highlighting edifying elements when present.
What makes ReformedScreen different from Plugged In or Dove.org?
Those sites are excellent starting points but use a broad evangelical lens. ReformedScreen goes deeper: fully customizable to your specific Protestant convictions, ruthless on ideological compromise, and includes in-context Scripture guidance for discipleship.
