ReformedScreen is a subscription tool that gives Christian parents — Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, and beyond — instant, customized media vetting reports for movies, TV shows, books, games, and music. Every report is tailored to your exact convictions, from young-earth creationism and regulative worship to your stance on abortion, gender roles, alcohol, premarital relationships, and 60+ other moral, cultural, and theological settings — so nothing slips past your family’s standards.
Who is behind ReformedScreen?
I'm a Christian parent and developer frustrated with generic "family-friendly" reviews that miss subtle doctrinal issues and blatant blasphemy. I built ReformedScreen to save families hours of research and help us raise children who love what is pure and reject what is worthless (Psalm 101:3).
How does the customization work?
After signup, you complete a quick profile setup by answering questions about your beliefs/preferences. Every report is then generated with your settings in mind — flagging content that conflicts with your beliefs or which you simply wish to avoid, and highlighting edifying elements when present.

We aggregate verified data from multiple trusted sources (Plugged In, Dove, IMDb Parents Guide, Kids-In-Mind, and more), then ruthlessly customize every report to your exact profile (60+ moral, cultural, and theological settings), exposing subtle ideological compromise with biblical vigilance and including in-context Scripture guidance to turn media decisions into discipleship opportunities. Is my data private and secure?
Yes — absolutely. At ReformedScreen, your privacy is a top priority. We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your profile, sensitivities, convictions, and report history stay securely between you and our trusted processors (Supabase for storage/auth, Stripe for payments — both industry leaders with bank-level security). All data is transmitted over HTTPS, passwords are strongly hashed, and row-level security ensures you only ever see your own information. As a small, family-run service, we treat your trust like our own — simple, safe, and transparent. You can export or delete your data anytime through your account settings.
